The Stroop DNB is a challenging variation of the classic dual n-back. You have to watch for n-back matches for two stimulus modalities, with one hand responding to one modality and the other hand responding to the other modality (as in the Dual N-Back). Modalities for you to keep track of from block to block can occur in any of the following combinations:
- Inner Square and Color
- Outer Square and Color (illustrated by the top panel)
- Outer Square and Word
- Inner Square and Word (illustrated by the bottom panel)

Keep note of the instruction symbols above the game square at the beginning of each new block. They tell you what combination you need to keep track of while playing the n-back game for that block.
The Stroop DNB is a very challenging variation of the DNB which depends on a lot of interference control. It is particularly effective in training your attention control.
