The emotional DNB uses the same game logic as the classic dual n-back. Instead of disk locations and letters, you must keep track of face locations (ignoring the faces themselves) and word colors (ignoring the word meanings).

Your objective is to increase your n-back level, as in the other DNB games.
The emotional DNB game has been shown to be particularly effective in improving emotion-related self-control and reducing emotional reactivity. It also results in improvements in IQ just as the classic DNB game does.
